Someone Else’s Responsibility: My Experience at the Park of Love

I have lived at the Park of Love for about a year and a half. Over that time one theme has become ever clearer, one I have known about for a long time but have not always known how to live by: someone else’s responsibility.

I have noticed how doing things for others and rescuing them can seem right, yet in fact keeps both me and them out of balance. How returning to the old path may feel easier at first, but in the long run makes me unhappy.

In this video I talk about how I have experienced this at the Park of Love, and why I have started to see that other people’s backpacks belong to themselves.

This is my personal experience. I cannot say that it works the same way for everyone.
